Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes

I love makeup so when I saw the Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes in the Latex, Leather and Lace warehouse I couldn’t resist asking if I could try them.  Thankfully Anna and Patrick let me indulge in the delights of feathers. Thank you!

These come in a beautiful little compact packet, that also show a picture of how stunning you should look at the end of the application.  I may not have managed it quite to this level of perfect.

Inside the Packet

If you’re wondering what comes with them, as usual for eyelashes, I can tell you not a lot.  The instructions are on the back of the packet in small print.  Inside is one set of Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes in black and the tiniest tube of glue I think I’ve ever seen.

How to Apply

I started by actually putting on my makeup. Foundation, blusher and eyeshadow were all applied.   I chose to use very smokey colours for my eyeshadow as these falsies are huge! If you’re going for dramatic lashes I think it’s best to go for dramatic shades to match.  Dark eye makeup makes me feel sexier too.

I made sure to put my mascara on too. It would be a difficult task to put it on afterwards without ruining the feathers.  The instructions say you can trim the length and width of the lashes to suit but I wanted the maximum effect.

Peeling the Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes off the plastic tray was very easy. I was worried about ruining the delicate fluffy feathers with my clumsy fingers but they were sturdier than they appeared.

The glue needed piercing and when I did a lot of glue exploded from the tube and I worried there wouldn’t be enough.  I shouldn’t have worried.  You only need to put a small amount on the edge of the lashes. Wait 30 seconds for the glue to go tacky then apply just above the lash line, starting at the inner corner.

I love the results. They were incredibly easy to apply due to their length. They didn’t feel heavy at all but they do get in the way of your vision if you try to look up.  I think they’re simply stunning, dramatic, sexy and fun.

They stayed in place during some rather vigorous activity too.

When I decided to remove the Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes they came off easily and in a state that means I’ll be able to use them again.  If you want to try the Fever Feather Plume Eyelashes you can find them here for just £3.29.
