Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress

The people at Latex, Leather and Lace did it again.  They gave me something else to love.  A fair few months back, sorry for the delay, they gave me this Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress, for free, in exchange for an honest review.  Due to my own self doubt and body conscious issues, I have struggled to write it.  This just shows how awesome Anna and Patrick are, they gave me the extra time to get myself ready and confident enough to do it.  If you haven’t checked them out you really should because they’re amazing.

I loved the Noir Handmade range from the first time I saw it.  It is sexy, beautiful and amazingly good quality.

My Experience with the Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress

Wetlook is my favourite material for a sexy look.  It is cheaper than leather and more forgiving than latex, but it still conjurs the image of a sexy biker or Domme chick.  A woman in charge, in demand and who gets what she wants.  If I slip on a shiny black material I feel unstoppable.  As a chunky chick, of rather big proportions, I demand a lot from my sexy attire.  I want to look beautiful, I don’t want to look like I stuffed myself into something too tight; the rolls must be kept under control or hidden.

When Latex, Leather and Lace first showed me their warehouse, filled to the brim with luscious delights, I cringed at the thought of having to tell them my size.  Of the looks they would give my big booty…scared that the seams would bust as I pulled the tight material over my body.  Silly me, Anna took one look at me (not a hint of the judgement I feared) and started pulling clothes out of the Noir Handmade range, my size is not a problem.

The Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress with zipper that I took home with me is a size 6XL.  One thing I love is that there is no plus size section in Noir Handmade; sizes are small (UK 8) all the way up to 6XL (UK 24).  I was not made to feel abnormally large!  I was just one of their regular sizes.

The Wetlook material is the best I have ever owned.  It is somewhere between a black and a charcoal grey but it’s surface is smooth and perfect.  There is a shine to it that is subtle; the whole effect makes me think of smooth leather.  The material is lightweight with perfectly straight stitching.  The quality really is undeniable.

Whenever I put this on, and that has been a lot, I love it.  I feel sexy.  The material that is longer at the back skims the top of my thighs and when I wear fishnet tights, looks amazing.  The A-line skirt is so flattering.  Hiding my tummy well.

The tulle over the chest and back is dark and the batwing style is stunning.  The material here is much better than I thought it was going to be; I thought it might snag easily but it doesn’t.

The only thing I’d like to change about this dress is that I wish the body was slightly longer on the wetlook.  This is only because I have a long body and smaller boobs than my body requires for my size.  I would not change anything else about it.

Conclusion

If you’re looking at, or considering purchasing the Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress, I would encourage you to do so.  It is a stunning dress and if I look good in it, you will look amazing.

I decided not to include a full length image of myself in the Noir Handmade WetLook and Tulle Dress as, although I am very confident in this dress, I’m not confident once sat in front of the computer.

If you would like to purchase this amazing, high quality, beautiful dress you can find it here for £48.99.

I also managed to get hold of some Silicone Nipple Covers whilst at Latex, Leather and Lace.  I was hoping to wear them under this dress so that I could take some photos and maintain some privacy.  They weren’t as good as I had hoped.

The Hollywood Curves Nipple covers are self adhesive, silicone and super smooth.  If you’re looking for a fairly natural cover to hide the shape of your nipples under clothing these worked really well.  If you’re looking to hide nipples and areola under a sheer top I don’t think these are perfect.  As they are slightly translucent, they do allow some colour through.

The Hollywood Curves adhesive is strong enough to hold the covers in place, but at the same time, they are easy enough to remove, so that you aren’t risking losing a nipple in the process.

If you would like to try the try the Hollywood Curves range you can find them here.
