Mr Rose is pretty perfect, but if there was one thing I’d change about him, it would be his inability to orgasm quickly. Not much of a failing but sometimes I really fancy a quick few minutes of explosive fun. Often fitted between boring everyday jobs, when you literally only have 10-15 minutes free. So when I saw the Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel on Wicked-Butterfly I was very interested. I’d also read a review by TheBigGayReview about the Ride Bodyworx Delay Spray, that worked a little too well. Now that may not be so great in a delay spray but I was hoping it would mean good things for the stimulating gel.
Wicked-Butterfly then sent me the Ride Bodyworx Stimulating Gel to try for free in exchange for an honest review! So here it is.
Ingredients in Ride BodyWorx Rise
The Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel is actually one of Sliquid’s products. The Sliquid website states that all of their products are free from DEA, glycerine, glycerol, gluten, PEG, parabens, sorbitol, sulphates and propylene glycol and they’re also 100% Vegan Friendly. Most people are worried about the ingredients used in their personal products, so this is all very reassuring. If you’d like to know more about ingredients that should be avoided you can always check out DangerousLilly’s lube guide. According to DangerousLilly’s guide the only ingredients in the Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel that should be avoided are the essential oils and menthol as these can be irritants.
After learning this I did go to the Sliquid website and found that they only recommend this product be used for solo play as it can be too intense during penetration.
So What Is Ride BodyWorx Rise?
The Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel is a product that should give a “natural and subtle erectile boost” It does this by using natural vasodilators which increases the blood flow to the area it’s applied to. This should also increase sensitivity!
This is not a lubricant.
Rose’s Experience of the Ride Bodyworx Rise?
I love this little bottle. It’s gorgeous with its beautiful, deep, rich blue colour and the label with it’s luscious mix of metallic and black. This bottle is so discreet that it can be stored amidst beauty products or hair care items without fear of people questioning you about it. The pump dispenser is incredibly handy and provides a good amount of liquid per pump. A couple of pumps is all that’s required.
The gel looks very much like a lubricant and it is tempting to use it like one. The gel is clear and not too runny. It smells amazing! It’s very mild but has hints of vanilla and mint, a combination I wouldn’t have thought I’d like but it’s divine.
The instructions say you should apply the Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel to the shaft of the penis and just under the head. I did take great pleasure in applying it. The gel is absorbed into the skin rather quickly, within a few minutes. It goes a little bit sticky but soon disappears, leaving the skin smooth and soft. I don’t think it made a visible difference to Mr Rose’s erection, it was not visibly larger nor did it feel any firmer.
Mr Rose described the Ride Bodyworx Rise Stimulating Gel as nice. It feels slightly cooling and a bit tingly but not overly so, other than that no real difference was experienced. From my point of view though, I have to admit that on the occasions that we’ve used it our intercourse hasn’t lasted quite as long. I also don’t think I can attribute the difference completely to my undeniable bedroom skills (just let me have that one). Mr Rose has also had some pretty intense orgasms with this too. Although he says it hasn’t made a difference, I would argue that it has made a subtle difference.
Due to this product being waterbased and the fact that we use condoms as our method of contraception, we did use this product during intercourse. I didn’t experience any discomfort. It is recommended for solo use only though.
Overall this is a lovely product and I think that it does improve sensitivity slightly. If you’re looking for an obvious, big difference when using this product I don’t think you’ll find it. This product does have some lovely qualities though.
I would have preferred it if this product was able to be used during intercourse and if the effects were more obvious.
